The sacrament of the Lord’s Supper is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month at FPCG. All are welcome to participate in the .Lord’s Supper as a confirming and converting ordinance. The Presbyterian tradition finds in the Lord’s Supper neither a bare memorial, nor the physical presence of Christ, but rather a sign and seal of God’s covenant of grace in which Christ is spiritually present.
Adults and children, baptized and unbaptized, believer and doubter, sinner and saint are welcome at the table of the Lord Jesus Christ.
No one can be fenced off from the love and grace of God. Just so the table of God’s radical grace and hospitality is not fenced off from any who wish to participate. The table is open to everyone in the hope that all will have opportunity to taste and see that the Lord is good and like the early disciples, discover in the breaking of bread the presence of the risen Christ.
